Vehicle fitment

Custom fit starts with real measurements.

SunShieldCars does not claim compatibility simply because a make, model, or year exists. Fit is verified by windshield dimensions, contour, mirror/sensor placement, and attachment clearance.

Measure these areas

Four fit points matter.

  1. Usable windshield widthMeasure the inside glass area the shield can safely cover.
  2. Usable windshield heightMeasure from upper usable glass to the dashboard-line edge.
  3. Mirror and sensor housingRecord size and location so the product can contour around obstructions.
  4. Attachment clearanceConfirm any suction-cup or tab location does not conflict with cameras, stickers, mounts, or trim.

Fitment status language

Three honest levels of compatibility.

Verified fit

Measured or tested against the actual vehicle/windshield dataset.

Measurement required

Likely product type identified, but dimensions still need confirmation.

Not yet verified

No compatibility claim should be made until data is available.

Modern windshields need clearance thinking.

Dashcams, driver-assistance camera housings, rear-view mirror assemblies, toll tags, and aftermarket mounts can change the usable shape. Fitment should account for the real cabin, not only the glass dimensions.
